Tree Parents: The Green Journey Begins!
🌱🌿

Hi Tree Parents!

We’re excited to share some updates on our journey to save the Philippine eagles through forest restoration! Your incredible support has been a beacon of hope, and we’re eager to fill you in on our progress.

Since launching this campaign in March, we’ve faced a few challenges. For instance, delays due to the nationwide drought impacted our timeline. To ensure the best results, we chose to pause planting until the rainy season started in June. Additionally, we’ve implemented extra protocols and training to ensure that every tree you’ve adopted will thrive in its new home.

Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far:

Tree Planting: Land preparation began last Friday in Sirib, Davao City. Currently, our community members are planting your trees. However, due to system upgrades, there will be a delay in updating the tracking interface on our website.

Seedlings Ready: We have nurtured native and fruit trees at the Philippine Eagle Foundation’s central nursery. Each seedling is now tagged and ready to be adopted.

Site Assessments: Our team has completed thorough site assessments and soil analyses. These steps were crucial to selecting the best species and planting methods.

Training and Workshops: We’ve conducted training sessions and workshops for our staff and community members. These sessions have equipped them with the knowledge and skills needed for successful planting.

Tracking Interface Update: This month, we’re launching an upgraded tracking interface for our web app. With improvements to our database and software, you will receive more timely updates on our progress. We will notify you as soon as the new interface goes live.

Rest assured, every bit of your support is crucial to this vital cause. By working together, we’re making a positive impact on the Philippine eagle, our forests, and the communities that depend on them. Thank you for being such an essential part of this journey!

Warm regards,

The 3 Million Trees Team
